How I got here
I'm a Vegas kid who spent years doing flips — gymnastics, tumbling, the whole circus — before I ever set foot in a hospital. Then med school happened, and now I'm an anesthesiology resident in San Diego trying to be a good doctor and a halfway-decent human at the same time. (And no, I didn't hang it up — I still throw flips when the call schedule lets me.)
I share all of it because residency can feel lonely and a little nuts — so I figured, why not document the whole thing and bring people along? (Also: two dogs who do not respect my call schedule.)
— take what helps, leave the rest. this isn't medical advice, just my life :)
